The Mate of a Seacat vessel assists the Master in the day-to-day running of the vessel ensuring that all shipboard operations are conducted within the company Integrated Management System (IMS).
For this role we require one of the following Certificates of Competence:
STCW 11/2 Master 200
STCW 11/1 OOW Unlimited
Approved Engine Course (AEC) - Essential
Generic ECDIS - Essential
Slinger & Banksman – Essential?
GWO Working at Height – Desirable

Only certificates endorsed with the relevant STCW notation and issued by a recognised Flag State, will be accepted.
Due to the requirements of many offshore wind farms, STCW Basic Training must have been completed within the last 5 years.
Unfortunately persons applying without the required minimum Certificate of Competence and essential qualifications will not be considered.
